Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the DataKita public website, contributor waitlist, enterprise inquiries, contact forms, beta contributor workflows, and enterprise dataset pilot discussions.
Data we collect
- Contact details such as name, email, company, role, and message content.
- Contributor waitlist details such as email, optional name, and optional city or university.
- Enterprise inquiry details such as use case, dataset type, estimated volume, organization, role, and notes.
- Contributor task submissions during beta, including audio, text, preference choices, task metadata, consent records, quality review status, and payout status.
- Payment destination details needed to process approved beta payouts.
- Technical data such as IP address, request metadata, security logs, analytics events, browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from technical signals.
How we use data
- Respond to enterprise, contributor, partnership, privacy, and general inquiries.
- Manage contributor beta registration and program communications.
- Present task instructions, record consent, review submissions, and process approved beta payouts.
- Prepare samples or pilot datasets according to the consent and task purpose shown before submission.
- Maintain security, prevent spam or abuse, debug service issues, and operate analytics and performance monitoring.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute, and compliance obligations.
Consent and task purpose
For contributor submissions, DataKita links consent to the task and usage purpose shown before submission. A contributor may ask DataKita to stop using a submission for future licensing where withdrawal is available for that submission and use case.
Withdrawal does not automatically remove processing that already happened, payments already processed, records DataKita must keep for legal or accounting reasons, or datasets already delivered under a completed engagement when removal is not technically or contractually available.
Sharing data
DataKita may share data with infrastructure providers, payment or e-wallet partners, internal reviewers and contractors, enterprise customers under a separate agreement, professional advisers, and authorities when required for legal, security, dispute, tax, or compliance reasons.
DataKita does not sell contributor contact details.
International processing and retention
Some service providers may process or store data outside Indonesia. DataKita uses operational controls, provider agreements, and access limits appropriate for the service and data type.
DataKita keeps personal data for as long as needed for the purpose collected, including support, security, audit, accounting, tax, dispute, beta operations, and enterprise engagement records.
Security
DataKita uses reasonable technical and organizational controls to protect data, including access limits and operational review. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.
Rights and requests
Subject to identity verification and applicable limits, a person may request to:
- Access personal data DataKita holds about them.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion or restriction where legally and operationally available.
- Withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the relevant basis.
- Ask how DataKita handles their data.

Children and changes
DataKita is not intended for children. Contributor beta eligibility rules will be stated before a person joins a task or beta program.
DataKita may update this Privacy Policy as the product, beta program, legal requirements, or enterprise engagements change.
